Holdenhurst Village

Holdenhurst Village is a small, largely rural civil parish in the unitary authority of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole in Dorset, sitting a few miles north‑east of Bournemouth town centre. It retains a distinctly village character of lanes, farmland and a compact historic core despite being surrounded by suburban growth; the parish is often thought of as a green pocket tucked against the outskirts of the conurbation.

Historically an ancient parish that once covered much of the area that became modern Bournemouth, Holdenhurst Village has a long agrarian heritage and a small medieval parish church at its heart.
