Denham is a semi-rural village on the edge of the Greater London commuter belt in Buckinghamshire, England, set in the wooded Colne valley. The village sits beside stretches of the Grand Union Canal and the little River Misbourne, and is close to the lakes and walking routes of Denham Country Park, giving it an attractive mix of water, woodland and historic lanes.
Despite its village feel, Denham has a notable cultural history: the old Denham Film Studios played an important part in British cinema in the mid‑20th century and the area now hosts a combination of working studios and business premises. Today it is largely an affluent commuter community with a conservation-minded centre, village pubs and local clubs, prized for its green spaces and easy road and rail links into central London.
