Little Marlow is a small village and civil parish in Buckinghamshire, set just north of the River Thames and neighbouring the towns of Marlow and Bourne End. It sits on the edge of the low-lying Thames valley with the tree-clad slopes of the Chiltern Hills not far away, making it a popular spot for countryside walks while remaining within easy reach of larger centres and commuting routes.
The parish retains a rural character with a medieval church, quiet lanes and a mixture of farms and period houses. Much of its local interest comes from the former gravel pits turned lakes and wetlands which attract waterfowl and anglers, and from small pockets of light industry and residential clusters close to the larger villages - a community that combines historic charm with the practicalities of modern commuter life.
