Wooburn is a small village and civil parish in south Buckinghamshire, England, set beside the winding River Wye and close to the larger town of High Wycombe. It has medieval roots and a number of historic buildings and former mill sites along the river, giving a pleasant mix of riverside character, greenbelt countryside and a compact village centre.
The area is well used by families and commuters - being within easy reach of Bourne End and rail links towards London - but retains a local community feel with village halls, pubs, summer fĂȘtes and riverside walks. Conservation of the river corridor and adaptive reuse of mill buildings have helped preserve its historic charm while supporting modest local commerce and leisure activities.
