Leverington is a small village and civil parish in the district of Fenland, Cambridgeshire, England, lying just a few miles from Wisbech on the flat, low-lying reclaimed landscape of the Fens. The surrounding countryside is dominated by arable farming and a network of drainage channels and dykes that reflect centuries of fenland reclamation; the nearby River Nene and proximity to The Wash shape both the landscape and local economy.
Historically the village has medieval roots and its parish church, St Leonard, along with a handful of listed buildings, hints at that long-standing rural community. Today Leverington combines a strong agricultural presence with a commuter connection to neighbouring towns, and retains a village-centred social life around the church and hall rather than any large commercial centre.
