Arlesey is a small town and civil parish in Central Bedfordshire, England, lying beside the River Ivel and close to the chalk escarpment that characterises this part of the county. The settlement has an old village core with a medieval parish church and a landscape marked by former clay workings and brickworks, some of which have become lakes and wildlife havens.
Its industrial past sits alongside a strong commuter role today, with Arlesey station on the East Coast Main Line providing links into London; local economy now combines small businesses, light industry and logistics close to the A1(M). There are active community groups, a primary school and nature reserves such as the Old Moat and Glebe Meadows that draw local interest for wildlife and walking.
