Marston Moreteyne is a sizeable village and civil parish in Central Bedfordshire, England, sitting just to the east of Bedford on the A421 corridor between Bedford and Milton Keynes. Its position close to the M1 and to Cranfield means it functions largely as a commuter community, while the surrounding Marston Vale landscape - shaped by historic clay extraction and brickmaking - still colours the local economy and countryside character.
Despite modern growth the village retains a strong local identity, with a medieval parish church, active village hall, pubs, clubs and annual events that keep a community feel. Historic place-name links to the Moretaine family and a mix of old lanes, post-war housing and newer developments give it a blend of agricultural, historic and suburban threads typical of Bedfordshire villages in close orbit of larger towns.
