Toddington is a large village and civil parish in Central Bedfordshire, set in the low-lying countryside of the River Flit valley. It retains a recognisable medieval core with a parish church, traditional pubs and a village green, while the surrounding landscape is a patchwork of mixed farmland, hedgerows and small woodlands that give the place a distinctly rural feel despite its size.
Historically an agricultural and market-gardening community, Toddington expanded in the 20th century and now combines village life with commuter links to nearby centres such as Luton and Bedford. Local social life centres on a primary school, community groups, sports clubs and occasional village fĂȘtes, and the parish contains a number of historic and listed buildings that reflect its long local history.
