Bolingey is a small hamlet on the north coast of Cornwall in England, lying just inland from the dunes and long surf beach at Perranporth and within the civil parish of Perranzabuloe. It comprises a scattering of traditional cottages and farms with a village pub and retains a quiet, rural character despite being close to busy coastal walking routes.
Locally the economy is a mix of agriculture and seasonal tourism - visitors come for surfing, beaches and countryside rather than town shopping - and community life reflects typical Cornish rhythms, with local events and strong ties to the county’s farming, fishing and mining heritage. Bolingey makes a peaceful base for exploring the headlands and smaller coastal settlements of north Cornwall.
