Indian Queens and Fraddon are neighbouring villages in mid-Cornwall, England, sitting close to the A30 trunk road between Newquay and Bodmin in the parish of St Enoder. Indian Queens takes its unusual name from an old coaching inn reputed to have displayed an "Indian queen" sign, while Fraddon grew up as a crossroads settlement and later expanded with better road and rail connections.
Both places reflect the rural and industrial mix of mid-Cornwall: farmland, traces of the china‑clay and mining heritage, local shops, pubs and small industrial estates that serve commuters and passing traffic on the A30. Community life is centred on village halls, clubs and parish activities, and although modernised they still retain a distinctly Cornish village feel alongside practical transport‑related commerce.
