Marhamchurch is a small, mainly rural parish just to the east of Bude on the north coast of Cornwall in England. It sits a short drive from the coast and popular beaches such as Widemouth Bay, so while farming remains important the local economy also benefits from tourism and holiday lets drawn by the coast and the South West Coast Path.
The village has an intimate, close‑knit feel with an ancient parish church and a handful of historic buildings that hint at medieval roots; day‑to‑day life tends to be shaped by agriculture, small local businesses and community events rather than large industry, making it a quiet base for exploring the dramatic north Cornish coastline.
