Perranuthnoe is a small coastal parish in Cornwall perched on the edge of Mount's Bay, a few miles west of Marazion, with regular views across the bay to St Michael's Mount. The shoreline includes a long sandy beach backed by dunes and rocky headlands, and the clifftop sections form part of the South West Coast Path, making it popular with walkers, surfers and birdwatchers.
Historically the local economy mixed smallholdings, fishing and links to the region's mining past, but today tourism and holiday accommodation play a large role alongside a settled rural community. The village retains a parish church, a village hall and community events, giving it a quiet, village atmosphere prized by residents and visitors alike, with notable wildlife and coastal conservation interest.
