Malborough is a compact village and civil parish in South Hams, Devon, England, sitting a couple of miles inland from the coast and a short drive from Salcombe and Kingsbridge. It occupies rolling farmland on the edge of the coast, within easy reach of the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and popular walking routes such as the South West Coast Path, so the outlook is very much rural with coastal access close by.
Historically an agricultural community, the local economy now mixes farming with tourism and small local businesses; the village keeps a strong community feel with shops, pubs, a primary school, a village hall and seasonal events like fayres and horticultural shows. The parish church has medieval origins and the settlement still shows traditional Devon character in its cottages and lanes, while nearby estuaries and lanes attract walkers, sailors and visitors to the South Hams countryside.
