Buckland Brewer is a small village and civil parish in the Torridge district of Devon, England. It sits in a gently undulating rural landscape typical of north Devon, surrounded by hedged farmland and narrow lanes and within easy reach of the North Devon coast and market towns such as Bideford and Great Torrington.
Historically a farming community, the village retains a number of traditional stone cottages and a parish church of medieval origin, and its local economy remains centred on agriculture with some small businesses and commuter households. Social life is village-focused, with a village hall and occasional fĂȘtes and events that reflect the close-knit rural community and the heritage of the area.
