Warmsworth is a riverside village on the banks of the River Don, a few miles west of Doncaster in England. It has a quietly suburban-rural character - rows of family homes and pockets of older cottages sit alongside the parkland and grounds of Warmsworth Hall, a local landmark. The village is popular with commuters because of easy access to Doncaster's shops and stations, while still feeling connected to the countryside.
Historically the area combined agriculture with light industry, and traces of former brickworks and milling activity can still be sensed in the landscape. Today the community has a local village feel with a village hall, riverside walks and ready access to green spaces around neighbouring Sprotbrough and Balby, making it a pleasant base for both outdoor recreation and trips into the town.
