Willingale is a small, quiet civil parish in the Epping Forest district of Essex, England, made up of the neighbouring hamlets often known as Willingale Spain and Willingale Doe. Its attractive rolling farmland, lanes and timber-framed houses conceal an unusual historic curiosity: two medieval churches standing very close to one another, reflecting the old pattern of separate manorial communities in the same village.
