Dymock is a small village and civil parish in the Forest of Dean district of Gloucestershire, England, set in rolling farmland near the valley of the River Leadon and close to the county border with Herefordshire. The local economy is largely agricultural with orchards and small family businesses, while a number of residents commute to nearby towns such as Gloucester and Ledbury.
Despite its rural size, Dymock is notable for its cultural history as the hub of the early twentieth‑century Dymock Poets - most famously Edward Thomas and visitors like Robert Frost - and that literary heritage is marked by trails and plaques. The village retains a strong community feel centred on its church, village hall and pub, and is popular with walkers and anyone interested in traditional countryside life and local history.
