Ashleworth is a small village and civil parish in the borough of Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, lying on the floodplain of the River Severn. The surrounding low-lying meadows known as Ashleworth Ham are important wetland habitat and attract wintering wildfowl and waders, making the area notable for nature conservation and birdwatching.
The village retains a strong historic character - a moated manor, the old parish church and the fine tithe barn (often referred to locally as Ashleworth Court and Ashleworth Tithe Barn) speak to its medieval and agricultural past. Today the local economy remains largely rural with farms and small businesses, while many residents commute to nearby towns; community life is quietly shaped by the river, the landscape and occasional flooding.
