Northway is a residential suburb on the northern edge of Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire, England. It sits close to the M5 and the village of Ashchurch, providing easy road access to the town centre and the nearby River Severn which shapes much of the local landscape.
Mostly developed as a mid‑20th‑century council estate with later private housing, Northway has local shops, a community centre and schools, and many residents commute to Gloucester, Cheltenham or Bristol. Its location gives good access to Tewkesbury’s medieval heritage, notably Tewkesbury Abbey and the annual festival, though parts of the area are occasionally affected by flooding from the River Severn.
