Preston Candover is a small, attractive village set in the Candover valley within the district of Basingstoke and Deane, county of Hampshire, England. Sitting on rolling chalk downland north-east of Basingstoke and within easy reach of Winchester, it is characterised by beech‑lined lanes, open farmland and a quiet rural landscape popular with walkers and riders.
Historically an agricultural settlement with medieval roots, the village retains a number of listed cottages and a traditional parish church and much of the core is a conservation area.
