Breamore is a small, picturesque village and civil parish on the edge of the New Forest in Hampshire, England, a few miles north of Fordingbridge. Set close to the meanders of the River Avon, it combines rolling farmland and lime‑lined lanes with easy access to forest walks and cycle routes, so it feels very rural yet within reach of larger towns.
The village is best known for Breamore House, an exceptionally well‑preserved Elizabethan manor with period interiors and gardens, and the restored Breamore Mill, which together draw visitors interested in history and country life. The parish church of St Mary has Norman origins and notable medieval features; locally the economy leans on agriculture, small businesses and heritage tourism, and the community remains active with traditional fêtes and conservation efforts for the surrounding landscape.
