Redlynch is a small rural parish in south Wiltshire, England, lying a short drive south of Salisbury and near the border with Hampshire. Set in a wooded valley of mixed farmland and coppice, it’s characterised by quiet lanes, scattered hamlets and attractive countryside that’s popular with walkers and cyclists.
The area has a largely agricultural past and retains a handful of historic cottages and a parish church, while village life revolves around the hall, the local pub and community events. Economically many residents commute to nearby towns, but the parish’s rural character, local history and access to wider landscape features give it a distinctly village feel rather than a commuter suburb.
