Enham Alamein is a small village and civil parish in Test Valley, Hampshire, England, lying on chalk downland a few miles north of Andover and close to the open training country of Salisbury Plain. Its setting is typically rural, with farmland, hedgerows and a compact village core rather than any large urban development.
The village is especially notable for its 20th‑century role as a centre for the rehabilitation of wounded service personnel - the work that grew into the Enham Trust - and for taking the "Alamein" suffix after the Second World War in recognition of that military connection. Today the trust and related care services remain important local employers alongside agriculture, and the community retains a quiet village character with modest local events and volunteer‑led activities.
