Wigginton is a small village in the borough of Dacorum in Hertfordshire, England, set on the edge of the Chiltern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty a few miles west of Tring. It keeps a distinctly rural character with narrow lanes and traditional cottages and enjoys easy access to popular walking routes and nearby nature spots such as the Tring Reservoirs and Ivinghoe Beacon.
Historically an agricultural community, the village now combines farming and small local businesses with a number of commuters who work in London and surrounding towns; there is still a strong community feel around the local pub, church and village events. Many buildings date from the 18th and 19th centuries, giving the settlement a conservation-area atmosphere and appealing balance between countryside living and reasonable transport links to larger centres.
