Arreton

Arreton is a small, historic village near the centre of the Isle of Wight in England, lying on the routes between Newport and Sandown. It has medieval roots and a compact village core with a traditional parish church and a number of old farmhouses and lanes, giving it a distinctly rural island character.

Geographically notable for the nearby Arreton Down, where chalk downland and Bronze Age barrows hint at a long human presence, the village also hosts Arreton Barns and the historic Arreton Manor, which together attract visitors.
