Rosherville lies just inland from the south bank of the Thames at the edge of Gravesend, within the borough of Gravesham in Kent, England. It is chiefly residential, with a mix of Victorian terraces and later housing, and benefits from good rail and road links that make commuting into London and the nearby Medway towns straightforward.
The area carries a strong local history: the 19th-century Rosherville Gardens was once a well‑known riverside pleasure garden drawing steamboat visitors, and that legacy still colours local identity. Today the ward combines everyday shops, pockets of light industry and community facilities, and presents a socially mixed neighbourhood undergoing periodic regeneration.
