Hucking is a tiny, sparsely populated parish in the district of Maidstone, in rural Kent, England. Set on the crest of the North Downs, it features open chalk downland, pockets of ancient woodland and wide views across the Weald, making it more of a walkers’ and nature spot than a commercial centre.
The area is largely agricultural and residential, with scattered farmsteads and a small historic parish church; there is no significant high street and many residents commute to nearby towns. Quiet lanes, footpaths and active conservation interest in chalk grassland and woodland habitats give it a very traditional Kentish rural character.
