Seal is a village and civil parish in the district of Sevenoaks in Kent, in south‑east England. It sits amid rolling Kentish countryside, with the smaller hamlet of Seal Chart closely associated with the village and a mix of farms, woodlands and lanes giving the area a distinctly rural feel.
The settlement retains a historic core of stone and timber buildings around a village green and parish church, and it sustains a quietly active community life with local clubs and events. Economically it is largely residential - many people commute to London or nearby towns - while visitors enjoy country walks and the period charm that characterises much of the local area.
