Kemsing is a village and civil parish in the district of Sevenoaks, in Kent, England, sitting at the foot of the North Downs. The landscape around it is classic chalk downland, with the ancient route of the Pilgrims' Way passing nearby and fragments of species-rich chalk grassland and Bronze Age barrows on the slopes above the village.
Locally there are recognisable village features - a historic parish church, the well known St Edith's Well, a green, pubs, a primary school and small local businesses - and a lively community life centred on clubs and village events. Its position within easy reach of Sevenoaks and London means many residents commute, while agriculture and conservation of the surrounding downland remain important to the area's character.
