Grindleton is a small village and civil parish in the borough of Ribble Valley, Lancashire, England, sitting on the north‑eastern fringe of the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The surrounding landscape of rolling fells and gritstone outcrops offers good walking and wide views towards Pendle Hill and the Ribble valley, and the village lies a short drive north‑east of Clitheroe.
Historically it is notable for the 17th‑century “Grindletonians”, a nonconformist group founded locally, and the settlement still retains a strong rural character: hill farming and small‑scale agriculture underpin the local economy, while tourism, walkers and commuters to nearby towns add to village life, supported by community activities and a village pub atmosphere.
