Hesketh-with-Becconsall is a civil parish in the district of West Lancashire, in the county of Lancashire, England. It is centred on the larger village of Hesketh Bank with the smaller settlement of Becconsall, set on the fertile West Lancashire coastal plain near the course of the River Douglas and not far from the Ribble estuary, with wetlands such as Martin Mere close by.
The area expanded in the 19th century with railway links and has a strong agricultural and market‑gardening tradition that still shapes the local economy; today it keeps a village atmosphere with local clubs, pubs and churches, while good transport connections make it a popular commuter spot for nearby towns such as Southport and Preston.
