Horsforth is a leafy suburb and ward on the north‑western edge of Leeds in West Yorkshire, sitting between the city and the rolling countryside beyond. It combines terraces and Victorian and Edwardian villas with newer housing, has good rail and road links into the city and towards Harrogate, and lies within easy reach of Leeds Bradford Airport.
The area has a strong village feel around its busy High Street, with independent shops, cafés and pubs, active community groups and well‑used parks such as Horsforth Hall Park. Historically shaped by local textile and small‑scale industrial activity, today it is largely a family‑oriented, commuter community noted for good schools, conservation pockets and an annual programme of local events.
