Wycliffe is an inner‑city ward of Leicester, England, situated close to the city centre. It is largely residential with a mix of Victorian terraces, interwar housing and more recent developments, offering easy access to the city’s shops and services.
Like much of inner‑city Leicester, the area is culturally diverse with active community groups, small independent shops and local schools, and has been the focus of regeneration projects to improve housing and public spaces. Good bus links and proximity to the centre make it practical for commuters, while its streets retain echoes of the city’s industrial expansion in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
