Blofield is a sizeable rural village and civil parish in the district of Broadland, in Norfolk, eastern England, lying a few miles east of Norwich and close to the low-lying wetlands of the Norfolk Broads. The parish includes smaller settlements such as Blofield Heath, and the landscape is a mix of arable farmland, hedgerows and small woodlands with good road links into the city and the Broads.
Historically it has medieval roots and a compact village core with several older buildings and a parish church; today the local economy blends agriculture, small businesses and a significant commuter population. Community life is centred on the village hall, primary school, a couple of pubs and assorted clubs and events, which help to preserve a strong local identity even as the area modernises.
