Haddiscoe is a small riverside village in the district of South Norfolk, in the county of Norfolk, England. It lies beside the River Waveney and close to the Broads, with Haddiscoe Broad and the man‑made Haddiscoe Cut nearby; the surrounding low‑lying fen and waterways make it a quiet spot popular with boaters and birdwatchers.
Historically the settlement grew around drainage, peatland use and river traffic, and today remains a small agricultural community with a notable railway connection at Haddiscoe railway station, which makes Norwich and Great Yarmouth readily accessible. Local life centres on farming, nature‑based tourism and a handful of village institutions (church, pub and community groups) that reflect its rural character and historic links to the Broads.
