Stoke Holy Cross is a compact village and civil parish in South Norfolk, in the county of Norfolk in England, sitting a few miles south of Norwich on the valley of the River Tas. Its lanes, riverside meadows and small patches of woodland give it a distinctly rural feel while remaining within easy commuting distance of the city and nearby market towns such as Wymondham.
Historically the area has been agricultural and you can still see older farm buildings and a traditional parish church among more modern homes. Village life revolves around a handful of local businesses, a pub and a community hall, with regular clubs and events that sustain a strong local social fabric; economically it blends small local enterprise with families and professionals who travel into Norwich for work.
