Cucklington is a small, quietly attractive parish in South Somerset, Somerset, in south‑west England, sitting on rolling farmland a few miles east of Wincanton and within easy reach of Bruton. Narrow lanes, hedged fields and a generally unspoilt rural landscape make it typical of the Somerset countryside and popular with walkers and anyone after a peaceful base.
The village has a compact historic core with stone cottages and a village church of medieval origins, and the local economy is centred on agriculture with a fair number of residents commuting to nearby towns. Community life is quiet but close‑knit, with the church and village events providing much of the social activity and an overall sense of living in a traditional English rural settlement.
