Badminton

Badminton in South Gloucestershire is a small, rural village and historic estate set amid the rolling hills of the Cotswolds, within easy reach of Bristol and Bath. The village is dominated by Badminton House, the long-standing seat of the Duke of Beaufort, whose grand house and extensive parkland give the area a distinctly stately, landscaped character and a strong sense of continuity with the region’s agricultural past.

Despite its modest population, Badminton punches above its weight culturally and economically thanks to the annual Badminton Horse Trials, one of the world’s top three-day eventing competitions that brings significant tourism and local business each spring.
