Easter Compton is a small village on the north‑west fringe of Bristol, within South Gloucestershire in England. Sitting close to the M5 and the Cribbs Causeway area, it occupies a pleasant rural–suburban edge overlooking the lowlands towards the Severn Estuary, with distant views across to Wales on a clear day.
Historically an agricultural hamlet, today it combines farmland with a commuter population who work in the city and wider West of England economy, while retaining local amenities such as a village hall and pubs and an active community calendar. Its location by major roads makes it convenient for shopping and leisure nearby, yet it still feels like a close‑knit countryside village with seasonal events and countryside walks.
