Chadsmoor is a residential ward in the district of Cannock Chase, in Staffordshire, England, sitting close to the larger towns of Cannock and Hednesford. It grew up around the coal industry, and its streets still show the legacy of Victorian and early 20th-century terraced housing and mining-era community buildings, with easy access to the rolling heathland of the nearby Cannock Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Today the area mixes strong local community ties and grassroots clubs with the common post‑industrial challenges of employment and regeneration, while benefitting from decent rail and road links for commuters heading towards Birmingham and other centres. Local shops, churches and social venues give it a village-like feel despite being part of a larger urban district, and there has been ongoing investment to improve housing, public spaces and amenities.
