Codsall is a large village in the district of South Staffordshire in the county of Staffordshire, England, sitting on the edge of the West Midlands conurbation. It occupies a pleasant spot where suburban Victorian and modern housing meets open Staffordshire countryside, with the neighbouring villages of Bilbrook and Codsall Wood close by and easy access to Wolverhampton and other regional centres.
Historically an agricultural parish recorded in early sources, Codsall expanded after the arrival of the railway and remains largely residential, with a mix of local shops, schools and community groups. The village has a parish church (St Nicholas) and a village station on the Wolverhampton–Shrewsbury line, making it a popular commuter base while still offering easy access to rural walks and nearby attractions such as the RAF museum at Cosford.
