Coldmeece is a small, largely rural settlement just outside Stafford in Staffordshire, England. It sits among farmland and pockets of woodland and has a quiet, village feel while remaining within easy reach of larger towns and commuter routes.
The hamlet is perhaps best known for its wartime connections: it served the nearby ROF Swynnerton munitions complex and was once served by the specially built Cold Meece Halt railway station, so remnants of that industrial past still shape parts of the local landscape. Today the community is small with limited services, and residents tend to rely on neighbouring towns for shops and work, with local life centred on rural pursuits and the area’s history.
