Doxey is a small civil parish on the northern edge of Stafford in Staffordshire, England. It lies beside the floodplain of the River Sow and is best known for the adjacent Doxey Marshes, a stretch of wet meadows and reedbed valued for birdlife and for providing natural flood storage close to the town.
Once a rural settlement with commons and grazing, Doxey now has a suburban character with a mix of housing and local community facilities, while many residents commute into Stafford. The marshes remain a popular green space and a point of local ecological and recreational interest.
