Redgrave is a small rural village and civil parish in the Mid Suffolk district of Suffolk, England. It lies close to the well-known wetland reserve Redgrave and Lopham Fen, one of the largest areas of fenland left in southern Britain and part of the source area for the River Waveney, which attracts walkers, birdwatchers and naturalists to the locality.
The village retains a largely agricultural character with a handful of historic buildings and a medieval parish church at its heart; local life is quiet and community-focused, with village events and clubs. Conservation work around the fen, combined with footpaths and cycle routes, means small-scale tourism and outdoor recreation now supplement the traditional rural economy, giving Redgrave a distinctive mix of quiet village life and notable natural heritage.
