South Lopham is a small village in the district of Breckland, in the county of Norfolk, England. It lies close to the county boundary with Suffolk, a short drive from Diss and within easy reach of Norwich, and is noted for its proximity to Lopham Fen, a well-regarded nature reserve and the springhead of the River Waveney.
The settlement has long rural roots with agriculture still influencing the local economy and a handful of historic buildings and a parish church hinting at medieval origins. Today it offers quiet countryside living and a close-knit social life, with residents often commuting to nearby towns and the area attracting walkers and naturalists to enjoy the fenland and river habitats.
