Redgrave is a small village and civil parish in the Mid Suffolk district of Suffolk in eastern England, close to the Norfolk border. It has a compact historic centre with a medieval church and several timber‑framed cottages, set amid farmland and pockets of ancient woodland with a network of public footpaths.
A notable nearby feature is Redgrave and Lopham Fen, one of the UK’s rare valley fens and close to the source of the River Waveney, prized for its wildlife and popular with walkers and birdwatchers. The local economy remains largely agricultural, though many residents commute to larger towns such as Diss and Bury St Edmunds, and the village retains an active community life centred on local events and conservation efforts.
