Stradishall is a small rural parish in West Suffolk, in the county of Suffolk in England, lying not far from the Cambridgeshire border. The landscape is typical east‑Anglian farmland of arable fields, hedgerows and small copses, with a compact village core, a parish church and a close‑knit local community.
The parish is perhaps best known for the former airfield of RAF Stradishall, a Second World War station whose runways and buildings have since been repurposed for light industry and institutional uses, including the site of HMP Highpoint. Despite those modern footprints, Stradishall retains a quiet, historic character with footpaths and country lanes linking it to nearby market towns such as Haverhill and Bury St Edmunds, offering a mix of rural life and 20th‑century heritage.
