Kilsby is a village and civil parish in West Northamptonshire, a few miles east of Rugby and north‑west of Daventry. Set in rolling Northamptonshire countryside close to the A5 and the M1, it is best known for the nearby Kilsby Tunnel on the West Coast Main Line, an early Victorian engineering project whose dramatic construction in the 1830s still marks the local landscape.
Traditionally an agricultural community, Kilsby now has a mix of stone and brick cottages, a historic parish church, a primary school, village hall and pubs, and a lively local calendar of events. Good transport links have made it a popular commuter village while the tunnel, railway history and community institutions give it a distinct rural character and strong sense of place.
