Pagham is a small coastal village and civil parish in Arun, West Sussex, England, lying just west of Bognor Regis. It faces the long tidal inlet of Pagham Harbour, a noted nature reserve and Site of Special Scientific Interest with extensive salt marshes, shingle banks and reedbeds that attract large numbers of waders and wildfowl at high and low tides.
The village has traditional fishing and maritime roots but today its economy leans on tourism, conservation and small-scale local trades; birdwatching, walking and boating are popular pastimes and there are caravan parks and cafés catering to visitors. Pagham retains a close-knit community feel, with local efforts focused on protecting the harbour and managing coastal change while still celebrating its historic seaside character.
