Slindon is a small village and civil parish in the district of Arun, in West Sussex, England, sitting on the southern scarp of the South Downs. The settlement retains a strong historic character with a medieval parish church and a cluster of flint and timber‑framed cottages; much of the parish lies within the South Downs National Park and is crossed by woodland, commons and networked bridleways and footpaths popular with walkers and riders.
The local economy remains largely rural, centred on small farms, estate land and amenities serving visitors and residents, while social life is village‑focused with a hall, pub and regular community events. Proximity to market towns such as Arundel and easy access to Downs country make it a desirable spot for day visitors and commuters, preserving a strong sense of local conservation and community stewardship.
